HOMER / TERMS
Last updated 11 September 2026.
Homer and its siblings Luncher and Mealer are private applications run for one household and the people it invites. They are not a commercial service. Nothing is charged, and nothing is sold.
Using it
- Access is by invitation. An account is created for you by a household administrator, and can be removed by one.
- Keep your password to yourself, and tell the household administrator if you think somebody else has it.
- Put in only what you are content for the rest of your household to see. Homer is shared by design — that is what a kitchen screen is.
- Connecting a Google Calendar is optional and reversible at any time. See the privacy policy for what that involves.
What is not promised
These applications are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind. They may be unavailable, may lose data, and may be changed or withdrawn without notice. Do not rely on either of them for anything that matters more than dinner — they are not a medical, financial or safety system, and a calendar shown here may be out of date by up to fifteen minutes or longer if a sync has failed.
Keep your own copy of anything you would be sorry to lose. The calendar shown in Homer is a copy; your Google Calendar remains the original and is never modified by it.
Ending it
You may stop using Homer at any time, disconnect a Google account from the settings screen, and ask a household administrator to delete your account. Access may be ended at the household's discretion.
